Placement Vacancies for Children in California

Neither this Placement Vacancies web site, the California Alliance of Child and Family Services, or Placenet.net LLC are affiliated with any County or State agency. This site exists solely in an attempt to remove barriers experienced by social workers and probation officers who are seeking to find facilities in which to place children in their care. The email addresses of County and State users are checked to ensure they are those of their employer, and the State of California, Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing web site is checked to ensure that each registering private facility is fully licensed by this State.

It is the responsibility of each individual worker to assure themselves that the facility that they are considering for placement of a child is in good standing with Community Care Licensing by contacting and making inquiry of the local district office. Appropriate links for so doing are provided within the site. Neither the California Alliance of Child and Family Services or Placenet.net LLC can or will be held responsible for any actions or inactions that may result from use of this site, but rather it is the due diligence and professional judgment of the placing social worker who decides whether or not a particular vacancy is both appropriate and safe.
